    The sound of a guitar or a bass is basically determined by the combination of all components and the craftsmanship which goes into its creation. For more than a quarter of a century, MEC, a company from Markneukirchen, has helped make Warwick and Framus instruments shine with their incredible electronics. Now, MEC steps up their game by offering new, custom made potentiometers.

Custom potentiometers can be delivered very quickly and can be ordered without a minimum order quantity! Prices will be available soon, whereas there will be fixed prices for the custom made creations built on the base of the five “Standard” pots.

  


   
Encapsulated Notch Jack for Electric Guitars

 

For more than two decades MEC has stood for the development of particular high-quality components for electric guitars and basses. With the new notch jack for electric guitars MEC adds a valuable component to its line of high-quality jacks.

The encapsulated construction is completely shielded and prohibits at this point all kinds of noise intrusions to the signal path. Additionally, the bending of the contacts will be made impossible, thus preventing premature and unnecessary wear-out. It's made of brass and can handle mono, as well as stereo signals.

  
The jack is regularly used for Framus guitars and is also separately available to Warwick basses. Three different variations are offered: nickel-plated, gold-plated and anthracite.
